WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AT WARBROOK HOUSE HAMPSHIRE
A fantastic day being Victoria & Ben’s wedding photographer at Warbrook House in Hampshire. A lovely couple blessed with a glorious summers day in Hampshire at the magnificent wedding venue. From the ceremony in a historic English village church, to the full on evening party led by her rock singer brother, they had the most perfect wedding. It was a pleasure to document their special day and be amongst their family and friends, who could not have been more welcoming.
Like most of the weddings I photograph this came via a referral of sorts. Victoria’s dad Dave used to look after the travel plans of various Hollywood A lister actors and pop stars. Always swamped by photographers, he could of had his pick, so I was delighted to get the nod to photograph his daughters wedding. What can I say, I must be the best behaved!
Warbrook House is an imposing wedding venue. As you head up the tree-lined driveway the magnificent Grade 1 listed mansion majestically looms into view – it is a sight to behold. The beautiful Georgian manor house spreads across 130 acres of woodland and parkland – it is hailed by many couples as the perfect wedding venue. For wedding photography, it looks as epic in the winter snow, as it does in the summer sun. The grounds are so spacious, a golf buggy is on hand to ferry you to the best locations for photos.
Designed by the infamous architect John James in the early 1700s, it has stood the test of time, and is one of the most popular wedding venues in Hampshire.
AN ENCHANTING VENUE FOR YOUR SPECIAL DAY
When you book Warbrook House for your big day, there’s a lot more to this venue than just the historic grandeur or stunning beauty.
The friendly and experienced staff ensures that every aspect of the wedding reception is planned and executed perfectly. Victoria and Ben’s wedding went without a hitch. You can tell the staff are experienced, the day just flows. They also turned a blind eye to Victoria accidentally knocking over the large LOVE letters they use for the first dance.
Civil ceremonies and marquee weddings are just part of the package – and there are wedding packages to suit a variety of budgets. You can also have your ceremony in a variety of designated areas within the hotel. Inside the main house, the room is light and airy, with high ceilings and large windows letting in lots of light. Outside in The Garden Suite, set within the beautifully landscaped grounds, you can have your own marquee wedding with up to 450 guests. The large decking terrace is perfect for the summer, allowing your guests to spill outside. Great for natural wedding photos of your guests as they enjoy the sunshine.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR WEDDING RECEPTION IN WARBROOK HOUSE HOTEL
At a glance, the venue can accommodate as many as 550 guests and offers special accommodation. Warbrook House Hotel is also fully licensed to conduct civil ceremonies, and partnership ceremonies can be held in function rooms that can house up to 120 guests.
Catering options range from canapés and finger foods to full three-course meals and hog roasts, as well as locally sourced dishes.
