About Me
Wedding Photography in Uxbridge, London & South East
A National Geographic photographer once stated, “If you want to be a better photographer, stand in front of better stuff”
As a professional photographer, I've been fortunate to have “stood in front of better stuff” for over 25 years capturing moments that matter.
Life often unfolds through unexpected moments. At 19, I experienced such a moment when my work graced the front page of The Independent, later becoming part of an Amnesty International campaign. It was then that I realised the power of storytelling through imagery. Transitioning from stills to moving pictures, I spent a decade and a half manoeuvring hefty ENG video cameras around Heathrow Airport, documenting events for BBC, SKY, ITN as well as international broadcasters.
Photography has been more than just a career for me—it's been a journey filled with excitement and exploration. From bustling cities like Shanghai and Nairobi to the serene shores of the Caribbean, I've embarked on assignments that have shaped my perspective. The thrill of jet-setting, including a few exhilarating flights aboard Concorde, and capturing the vibrancy of Richard Branson's legendary events and parties have been unforgettable highlights. Amidst the routine of covering politicians, I've had the privilege of meeting icons like Nelson Mandela and documenting the laughter of Princess Diana and her boys during a joyful day at Thorpe Park.
Now, as you plan your special day, it's time for us to carve out a moment of our own. Let's sit down over coffee or a beer, where you can share your vision for your wedding. I'll bring various wedding albums, offering you a glimpse into the comprehensive coverage I provide from beginning to end. This meeting isn't just about discussing photography; it's a chance for you to ask any questions and ensure we're the perfect fit for capturing your most cherished moments.
Most couples I work with opt for full-day coverage, ensuring every aspect of their wedding is documented without time constraints. While I may take wedding photography seriously, I don't take myself too seriously. I can quote entire episodes of Peep Show, Phoenix Nights, Inbetweeners, and any scene from This Is Spinal Tap and Midnight Run. I may talk too much, but I'm genuinely eager to hear about your plans and how I can help bring your vision to life.
Based in Uxbridge, I photograph weddings across the UK, including locations such as Essex, Kent, Hampshire, and the Home Counties. Whether you're exchanging vows in a rustic barn, an elegant manor, or the village church, I'll ensure your love story is captured with authenticity and creativity.
